I got this watch over the weekend but can't find anything on it on the net. I can't pop off the back with my watch tools so I can't offer any kind of model numbers. Thank you in advance. Sent from my DROID RAZR using Tapatalk 2

New to the forum and first time Rolex owner. I just bought a new Explorer 214270 2 weeks ago. For reference I have a 6.75 wrist and like my watch pretty snug on my wrist. I had the AD take out 1 link from both sides at the time of sale. The micro adjust was on the middle position and this is all with the easy link closed. Last week I had the micro adjust moved to the tightest position which helped a little, but I still want a tad tighter. As of today I have 4 links on the 6 o¡¯clock side and 6 links on the 12 o¡¯clock side, the micro adjust in its tightest setting, and the easy link closed. The entire clasp mechanism (not just the clasp buckle) is centered on my wrist and the watch case. Any suggestions on how to take about a half links worth of space out without significantly altering the balance? Any combo of links removed and the micro adjust positions works as long as the easy link stays closed, as I do live where it can get pretty hot during the day, but cool at night. This photo s
Stopped into London Jewelers in Southampton today. Had the sub, sub date, DSSD, polar explorer and all Milgauss models. Pretty light on DJ 41¡¯s though. Did not buy anything but good selection for members seeking one of these references.
In 30 years of wearing Rolex, I have never had one stop running. Some of you that know me, know that I have bought many project watches over the years and done restorations. Some were real beat up but still ran. My first Sub I wore daily and it was pretty thrashed but still kept good time over 12 years without a service. The bezel was bent, the crown broke, but she still kept good time.Reached into the winder this morning to grab my 16750 Polar which is a U serial from 1996/97 ish. She was not running. Reset time and date, gave a full wind, couple taps and shakes and nothing. She is toast. We had guessed that this watch had never been serviced, and she ran a little fast but still ran. Not complaining at all. I believe this watch ran for 20 continuous years without a service. Really a tribute to how well Rolex is made. Guess it is time for a complete service. Next time I go to the city I will drop it off to my buddy who is a CW21 and my go to WS.
