- This is my second Croton clip watch, the other having stopped working after holding up to many years of abuse hanging off my purse - it actually had gouges out of the metal. It really takes abuse and keeps on working.

A few years ago I purchased an IWC Portofino from an internet dealer. I'm pretty sure it's genuine. I was even able to register with IWC using the case number on the watch. Well it's been a few years and it's starting to run consistently behind by a few seconds a day. The local AD told me that they can send it to IWC for servicing. Do you think IWC would work on it even though it's a grey market? Also about a couple of years after I got the watch, I dropped it and it was really not keeping the right time. I sent it away to a watch repair shop I found over the Internet because there was none in my local area. I'm sure he wasn't an AD but he fixed it. Do you think IWC would still service my watch despite that? Thanks for all the help. I'm a newbie to watches and my IWC Portofino was my first time in buying watches.

I was checking out the Omega site and noticed a new speedmaster had appeared. I quite like the look of the white face and wondered whether anyone had seen this up close or tried it on? Do you know how much they are asking for this little beauty?
