Omega Omega 22397 wrist watches news:
1976. The year that brought us U2, The Clash and The Cure ¡Whilst our ears listened to new tempos, our Swiss watches beat to the rhythm of quartz movements. Just like the 7P which Piaget brought us in 1976, the slimmest of its generation. Forty years on and the brand is still in touch with its electronic roots. The new Emperador Coussin XL 700P sees Piaget pair quartz with a great mechanism. What's the idea? The traditional escapement is replaced by a generator which produces electricity to make quartz vibrate. It's the same as dynamo hubs in bikes. What you get is no friction, no energy loss and precision that varies by 0.2s per day! The hybrid mechanism is showcased by a reverse dial-free construction meaning the hour and minute hands glide over the ultra-slim self-winding mechanical calibre. The stylish all-black timepiece oozes luxury watchmaking and high precision. Price: 70,000 CHF (118 available). Dan Diaconujaquet droz
My newly acquired 15300st has nearly the full 2-year warranty remaining. I've registered it, but not sure about getting the third year added. As I understand it, you have to send it to AP for the pressure test to get the additional year.Reluctant to go through that when it is unlikely to be an issue - my RO won't get any wrist time in or around open water. Those duties will be handled by the Rolex brigade. Thoughts guys?
I wear a blue dial 5711 as my daily and absolutely love it. It is also my only watch but I'm now looking to add another one. Below are some watches I've seen that I like but would appreciate your suggestions as I'm open to others! I generally prefer cleaner dials and I dress business casual for work. Budget is about $15k ish:--Calatrava (open to suggestions as to which model)--Rolex BLNR--Vintage Rolex (1675, red sub)--Any other suggestions? Thanks!
Hi guys. Long time no post here. I have a question for those of you who have seen the new 50 aniv SD in the flesh. Does it have a glossy or a mate dial. Is it the same mate dial as it's predecessor or is glossy. Sorry if this question has been answered before but I couldn't find any response in the posts that I could find.Best Mario
