Omega 326.32.40.50.11.001 wrist watches news:
Couldn't help myself:D
Looks like we have some good eaters here ...myself included!! This is one of my sources for excellent food ideas:My wife and I are visiting my parents for Christmas this year, and keeping with tradition since I moved to Europe, my mother is cooking us a whole Thanksgiving dinner to make up for the one I miss each year. My favorite part - dessert, of course!! Aunt Helen's fluffy pumpkin pie, naturally with Old No. 7: Cheers
I have been looking for a watch - kind of a medium/long term plan - that meets some specific criteria:I want something that I can throw on the wrist at any time, without winding, setting, adjusting, etc, and is very accurate, so that more or less rules out an automatic (I know, I should stop being so cheap and invest in a winder, and probably will if I ever snag that much admired Longines Moonphase).I want it to have some useful functions, things that I actually use - stopwatch, countdown timer, and an alarm I can hear (working around aircraft and teleprinters has damaged my hearing a bit). I love an analogue display, and the time must be instantly readable without clutter on the dial - it's a watch after all...And I would love for it to have a decent water resistance - I want to be able to go from work, to the pool, to the sea, or just know I can stick my arm into water without worry.I spent some time looking and had narrowed it down to the Tissot Sea-Touch. It seemed to tick all the
This is my first post so I thought I would introduce myself. My first nice watch was a gold automatic wittnauer that was presented to me in 1980 for being paper carrier of the year. I tucked the watch away several years ago but dug it out this year to see if it would fit and run. It runs but it doesn't fit. Being curious about the watch I did some web searches and discovered to my amazement that automatic watches are still made ! Furthermore I discovered Seiko automatic watches. I'm now hooked and somewhat poorer, 5 Seiko watches later. In the past year all automatic Seiko's that I have bought have come with a tag and the blue protective sticker on the caseback. I recently purchased a new quartz Seiko diver which didn't have the blue sticker or tag. It did have a warranty card in the manual and a clear plastic wrapper over the base (back and front). The watch looks pretty new but it looks like a return or a display unit. I'm curious whether a lack of the blue sticker and tag indicates
Wow, IMO, this 1927 E-7 model sure gives the Illinois Major some competition in the beauty dept. I'll be looking for one of these for my collection.photo by B. Girouard
