Breitling B133563 wrist watches news:
When F.P. Journe unveiled his Octa Sports line of watches back in 2011, we (the royal watch collecting "we") could simply not believe how light they were. After all, the F.P. Journe "lineSport" pieces, being the Octa Sport and the Centrigraphe (CTS), were made entirely of aluminum. Yes, aluminum! They were so light, they almost felt fake (seriously). They were not fake, they were just absurdly light, and absurdly cool. In fact, the very first aluminum CTS sold at Christie's for over $467,000. Yeah. That cool. But, all things must evolve, and today we have a look at the new line of sports pieces from Journe ¨C the very same models, but instead of the incredibly lightweight aluminum, they are now in titanium. 2 OF 18 The switch from aluminum to titanium was indeed a structural move. The soft qualities of aluminum posed some difficulties and Mr. Journe felt a completely titanium watch would still provide the incredible lightness the lineSport lovers were used to, without any
Hi to all,I just ordered a new Welder K25B watch and I want to order a custom leather strap. I want it to be really cool with orange accents (stitching) to match the hands and numbers. This is the watch:The band that fits this watch is like this one sold by signstimepiecesWhat combination would you use to match this watch?Maybe black with orange stitching? What other combination would you use, something diffrent?maybe a tan leather band with black stitching? similar to this one:what do you think?
that so many of you have got the WTF watch. If only I can order it, but being in Sg, it is always alittle difficult. Hahahaha. I am glad that everyone is posting good reviews and pictures of the dress watch! From the pictures, I can tell the finishing of the watch is really very good for the price. Is it possible for a video live review? It will be cool to watch. I want a watch too!!!
I just ordered a third Orbita winder - this one DC so I don't have to worry about putting it near a plug.Anyway, the plan/rationalization is this. With two winders and 3 automatics, I found I was only rotating among the automatics so they would remain wound and I wouldn't need to hassle with changing the date. I have a couple of quartz and a couple of manual wind watches. None of the manual winds have a date, so it's no big deal to wind it and set the time, and at most, since the quartz aren't perpetual calendars, I'll have to change the date on the 1st of the month. So, does it sound more like a plan to make it easier to add my non-autos into the rotation, or a rationalization to buy another Orbita winder? I guess both is an option. If it helps your decision any, while I think Orbita winders are great and attractive, I'd just as soon have spent the money on another watch.
Vintage Omega to be precise. I'm by no means an expert but I wanted to share my personal interest. Ariel isn't much of a vintage buff, so I like to fill in the gap... This is the second vintage-watch article I wrote for him..ablogtoread/collectin...omega-watches/JC
