I've Been Putting in the Hours ! ! ! These Two Will Blow Your Sox Off ! ! !
I've been CRAZY busy lately, putting in CRAZY hours in order to get a lot of watches done before the NAWCC National in Kansas. I just finished these two today so I thought that I'd share my results!The first one is a 1920's 10k white gold filled cut corner Elgin (this is one of the eight if you guys remember that thread). I would have to say that 99.9% of people would have taken a pass on this one or just would have tossed it into the trash, but not me!!! I love to see what is possible, remember you MUST have vision!!! I'll start put with the before pictures. This Elgin was in such bad shape it was not even funny! The original movement was rusted beyond repair so I put a freshly serviced 1914 Elgin, 7 jewel, size 3/0s movement in it's place.This is what it looks like as of about an hour ago, another one saved from the scrap bin!!! I restored the 10k GF case, the hands, new custom cut glass crystal, new genuine Lizard band, new crown and a new freshly serviced replacement movement. Inte

Long story short I purchased a patek from a TRF member. Since I didn't buy it at an AD should I not register it online?
