The Piaget Altiplano Chronograph has been on our radar ever since it was first introduced in December of last year, for a lot of different reasons. First of all, the world of ultra-thin chronographs is pretty static. New integrated chronograph movements are pretty rare beasts, despite the relative ubiquity of the complication. There may be a lot of chronographs out there, but the number of actual movements is really small, with the vast majority (Rolex and Omega aside) based on just two movements: the Valjoux 7750 and its derivatives, and the ETA calibers 2892 and 2824 with their respective modules. The world of extra-thin chronograph movements is even smaller; for many years the records have been held by those wonderful F. Piguet chronographs (F. i love these watches, they are the ones i wear the most.the Aquaracer is super confortable, the pushB clasp is a joy to use, the dial is a beauty, very easy to read in an conditions, thanks to the large hands with superb lume and the internal antireflecting, and the all brushed finish and the scratch resistant bezel gives me an indestructible feeling to-do-anything-watch. the dial is a joy to watch, the detailing is stunning, the 43mm size is also a plus.the Deepsea is not as confortable as the Aquaracer but the weitgh, the size 44mm, and the thickness let me knows im wearing a superb watch all the time, i cann always feel it in my wrist, i use this watch more on my relaxed days, the Cerachrom bezel is a beauty and i like to keep it clean so it can be more shiny, the thick crystal is very reflective so is a little more hard to read in sunny days, anyway, this is my king, and i totally love the thickness and the size. i cant imagine myself wearing something smaller than this [43mm 44mm]

New ROO to the collection
Have had an ROO RC for several years now. But when I got that ROO the blue/orange ROC was something I had been lusting after at the same time. Then a few years later, the blue/orange ROO was launched and my jaw dropped. I had to have it! Well, the time finally came when Len posted his for sale last week and we came to a happy place to strike a deal. Len (aka gogator1) was excellent to conduct a deal with and the watch was exactly as described, even better than the photos he sent me. He really tried to capture any little flaw (maybe 1-2 total) in the perfect light so there were no surprises. Excellent communication and I finally have my color fix! Quick photo, wrist shots later.
