Omega ST 145.043 wrist watches news:
I know that many of you will ask the question "why?!!" but...I let the sea dweller that was giving me one big headache go for many reasons. First, I have a sub and a sub LV with a black dial. Second, the sea dweller always felt just a little too big for my comfort. Third, I have a background in science, and before grad school I worked in research labs that involved PET and MRI scanning. So can anyone guess what I did when my AD called and told me they finally had my "watch"?I LOVE itIt was love at first sight
Gday AllNext on the list, somewhere in the next few months, is a Hamilton. So far the plan has been to go for the winner of the WTF $500-1,000 popularity poll, a Khaki of some sort. (Most probably something with a plain face - an Officer perhaps). A variety of reasons, but basically I can see the merit in having something that others like/want.Lately however I've been wondering whether an old Hammy may be the way to go; something like a Perry (love the look) or a Lowell (dream on stales....) - coz that's where I was born - oh - and I like the look!Obviously it'd be lovely to have both - but let's suppose that isn't an option for the forseeable future?Really interested to hear your comments on the pros and cons of going either way on this. (I should point out that the watch would not be worn very much; I work in Africa, "in the bush", a place far more suited to water/sweat/dust proof, SS diver style watches. The Invicta 8926 and Seiko OM do this just fine and it wouldn't be appropria
Wanna know why?Because our house never gets crap like this in it:I am Easily Amused.Personally, I thought this comment was the best....I am Easily Amused. - Page 4..but I enjoyed the verbal smacking the OP got from many including the mods. Looks to me like he got what he deserved! It never fails - every time I go check the Public Forum on WUS there's always at least one "Rolex vs. ______", "TAG vs. ______" or "Omega vs. ______" thread, and of course a "What watch should I buy for $xxxx" thread on the first page. Seriously guys - tell me you aren't glad we don't have to put up with that!
