- Based on its value, the watch is pretty good for a formal wear but I don't consider it as a collection. I could say it is worth the money.

I know that the black is still on the omega website, but I think I remember seeing somewhere that they are both discontinued. Anyone know if this is true?Dave
Hi everyone - I am brand new to this forum and I find the info and opinions on this board very useful. Anyways just wanted to share my new purchase - the Montblanc timewalker. I know the MB's get mixed reviews on this forum but it is without a doubt a fine time piece. I love it and plan on looking for another MB piece, possibly the Summit. What do you guys think of the Time Walker?
Hi allBeen an avid watch buyer for some time. Probably can¡¯t be described as a collector since I buy purely what I like and don¡¯t really consider value in the long term etc just buy for my pleasure and I'm too tight to sell them. Couldnt face someone offering me a pitance for something that is or was my pride and joy..Currently have quite a nice assortment.Rolex GMT Ceramic half gold, Panerai 251 (just purchased) Omega 50 year speedy, planet ocean chrono, omega constellation, couple of Rado's, 2 TAG's and some other odds and sods.Yes quite a diverse mixture but all worn frequently and sadly abused.Anyway over the last couple of years wife have been getting more interested in what I've picked out for her and surprise surprise recent she pulled out an old ladies Omega from the bottom of her jewellery box.She got this back in 1970 it is so small I couldn¡¯t believe it. Rectangular about 10mm by 7mm so small. It's on a replacement bracelet so don¡¯t know hat it should be.She got this from he
I've noticed recently that there seems to be a decent amount of slack in the jumping hour hand, as though it's loosened up or something. I first saw it when it was about 10:45 one night but the 12 hour hand was still directly on the 10 marker. I had a full service a little under two years ago at the Chicago authorized service center, which is why I'm a little annoyed that this is happening. The watch had run perfectly for seven years, died one day (prompting the service) and since then has run a bit fast (used to be just about spot on) and now this.I seem to recall only a year warranty on work, but I'm wondering if anyone with experience there can say whether they will in fact stand behind work longer than that? Otherwise, I would hesitate to go back there, since they didn't seem to do a particularly good job.If I do need to go elsewhere, which location should I send to? There's New York, Beverly Hills and Dallas, right? Not sure whether it matters. Also not sure whether I'm better off
I've been thinking of adding another watch or possibly selling a couple to upgrade . My current collection is as follows. -SubC ND-Sub LV Kermit-GMT Pepsi birth year-Omega Speedmaster mkII racing dial-Omega SM300 watchcoI have been eyeing an Exp 1 36mm or maybe selling a few and getting a Daytona. Other options would be a speedmaster. I really don't dress up to buy something more formal, never wear a suit. Also with the rotation I have been moving away from date watches, I don't even set the date when I wear my sub or gmt.Any thoughts on what I should get sell or consider in order to add variety? I wear the Omegas the least. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk Pro
