Omega chronograph wrist watches news:
Gavox is a brand we've talked about a few times here on worn&wound. Whether making Type XX inspired chronographs for the Belgian Air Force, or riffing on Marine Chronometers, Gavox has a tendency to surprise with their watches. Despite their young age as a brand, each model has achieved something new and different, and frankly been very attractive both aesthetically and financially. Well, their newest watch, the Aurora, is a game changer for the brand and an industry first. On the surface, the Aurora might look like another twist on an aviator watch, but lurking inside is a movement unlike any other we've come across. It's a Soprod Mecatronic movement that was developed with Gavox to their specs and desires. So what does it do? Well on top of telling time it has seven different modes, including a chronograph and perpetual calendar to name just two. It's basically like having the functionality of a digital watch, but with an analogue layout and controls. When you switch between modes
couldn't resist anymore, I saved some money and found a 50% off offer. I have my nice dress watch and I wanted a nice automatic sport watchI hope it will arrive before I head out of town this weekend, I can't wait
I've noticed a listing for a 1995 Royal Oak with box & papers, but the waffle looks kinda... off to me? I'm not sure if it's just a bad quality picture or if I'm imagining things. What do you guys think?i.imgur/h1RMQY8.jpg
What is the model number of the bracelet for the Omega 2531.80, please. I need to know so I can order some extra links. Where would you suggest ordering these links? Thanks for your help.
This question came up while I was reading about various PAM movements, in particular two of the manual wind 8 day power reserves. I did a bit of digging and this is what I could come up with:p.2002- 247 components with 21 jewels- 28,800 oscillations per hour- 6.6 mm thick, 13 3/4 lignes diameter- GMT function- Quick hour set- seconds reset function- 3 spring barrels in seriesp.5000- 127 components with 21 jewels- 21,600 oscillations per hour- 4.5 mm thick, 15 1/2 lignes diameter- variable inertia balanceSo it looks like the p.2002 is the more complex of the two movements. It appears though that the p.2002 is not simply an advancement in the p.5000 but a completely different architecture.
