- Great casual watch. I've gotten more complements on this watch than on my TAG and my Tommy Bahama watches combined. Comfortable, indestructible, and just plain good looking.

Oris 623-7582-4071LS wrist watches news:
We all knew it was coming, we just didn't know in what form. Today in New York City, TAG Heuer CEO Jean-Claude Biver introduced the brand's very first connected wristwatch. The TAG Heuer Connected is a 46 mm watch that looks very much like the new mechanical Carrera with Caliber 01 inside, but instead of a self-winding, Swiss-made movement, we have a Google-powered operating system. 1 OF 6 The watch takes the shape of a modern TAG Carrera, with a 46 mm case made of grade 2 titanium, complete with titanium deployant buckle. The stock black rubber strap may be swapped to a host of different colors, and the watch looks and feels very much like any TAG. However, there are no chronograph pushers here, just one crown that acts as the control center for the connected timepiece. 2 OF 6 The watch features three different TAG Heuer faces – a true chronograph, a three hander, and a GMT – and the chronograph works by tapping the screen once to start
I always forget how quiet the boards get after Basel. Posts really drop off around Spring/Summer. I'm guilty of not posting nearly as much as in the Winter. Maybe everyone is at the beach? Is it too soon to start talking about Basel 2010??
Hi, This is what I posted on other forum:Hello,Recently I inherited small collection of wrist watches. There are 20+ (edit: realy there is 17 pieces ¨C at first pile seemed bigger ) watches in collection and brands are Tissot, Favre Leuba, Vulcain, Juvenia. I was told that watches are aprox. form period 1970-1990 (edit: one Tissot I opened is from around 1965 acording to movement). Some have, I think, original straps (marked strap and buckle) and some even have price/stock tags. On top of that I got some literature and catalog. As total newb to watches I would appreciate some guidelines from experienced people. Most of collection are mechanical watches and few are battery powered. I will probably left few pieces as sentimental value and rest will be traded or sold. In literature I got I failed to find any piece from collection, in there are many pieces from same brand and with wide range of prices but not one from collection. I went to local watchmaker but he wasnt able to help me, exc
I am just wondering where you would rate the following companies Blancpain GO Jeager Lecoultre Just wondering, they are all watches that I have looked at buying. I was wondering where other WIS would put them? above rolex, below or equal? what about the against big 3, how do they rate
Some in-hand observations about the AP Diver (i have used my rolex sea dweller as a reference where i thought it would lend some perspective, not trying to compare the two as they are apples and oranges)In the realm of dive watches, the AP certainly stands out as unique, 1st it is a dive watch without an external bezel, quite uncommon, 2nd It has a movement that is beautifully finished and topped with a 22 carat gold rotor. The internal bezel is a neat complication & works nicely, it gives you a different way to interact with the watch & I like this. I time things frequently on dry land and although setting the bezel can't be done under water, its a very rare occurrence that I would want to use it that way, I guess I would just use my SD for the rare occasion i went diving. this is my first AP so many of its components / attributes strike me for the first time, so here are a few of my novice observations¡STYLE: the AP diver maintains the styling cues of the classic royal oak, t
