Oris 01 733 7671 4154-07 4 18 20FC wrist watches news:
How important is the size of the crown? And what about a plain crown vs. a signed or logoed crown? While I have some of both, I like to see how a manufacturer puts their mark on a crown. I like the simplicity of the "H" on modern Hamilton watches as well as the tuning fork on my Accutrons.
I was reading on Seiko's website the other day, under the news column, that they are going to be releasing a "spacewalk" model, from the spacewalk of private astronaut Richard Garriott, I really think it's a cool model, it's on their website, but they have not released a date, they say it will be released in 2010 and it's a limited production run, does anyone here know anything about it, such as price, model number, dimensions, etc etc etc. All it says on Seiko's website is that it's a spring drive model.
I found this in my gmail inbox:
Currently listed on eBay. Man's model, 33.4mm diameter with two 17-jewel movements inside
I tried on both the 15400 and 15450 RO today and the 41mm seemed too big and the 37mm too small. Considering trying to source a 39mm 15300. Curious to see what thoughts are on 15300 blue vs. Dual Time blue. Assuming ballpark they are in same range price wise what do people prefer and what would hold value better? I know the dual time is a little thicker and I may prefer the simplicity of the 15300. Thoughts?
