Oris 676 7574 4061 wrist watches news:
People have funny dreams. Some people have dreams of making watches with incredible water resistance. This Swiss Military 20,000 Feet Diver watch was a dream to do just that; create a mechanical watch that can survive just that, 20,000 feet under water. Not just any mechanical watch, but a chronograph, which is harder to keep as water resistant. The watch was made, it survived the pressure chamber, and it got awarded the word record. The 20,000 Feet Diver defeated the record Rolex set in 2008 with the new DeepSea Sea-Dweller watch by about 50%. It is rather cool that you can buy a Guinness world record holding watch. The story started in 2005 with Swiss Military's 12,000 Feet CX Diver, which was the deepest diving watch of its time. The 12,000 Feet watch was an automatic, but not a chronograph. Though impressive and record breaking, it just wasn't enough! "We Must Go Deeper!" Swiss Military Watches by Charmex had the drive and skills to make it happen, so development began on something
As the title says, how's your watch collection been trending the past 6 months or so?Mine's been trending down as I consolidate pieces to open up space & funds for one or two special pieces. After maxing out around 25-30 watches, I decided I didn't like having so many in the collection as most either weren't worn that much, or not at all. So I've consolidated them down to about 8-10 (not including cheap beaters or sentimental-only pieces) and plan to reduce that number 2, maybe 3 more. then add 1 or 2. My goal is to limit myself to 10 watches maximum, preferably 7 or 8 emphasizing quality, not quantity. Otherwise they just don't get worn enough to justify their staying in the fold. I've also moved from a 90%+ diver-style collection to mixing things up, and having several different styles in the fold, and looking at new styles that would complement my collection whenever I consider a new piece. I've been surprised to find I really enjoy spreading the collection around the dif
Ever seen this one before ? A special custom order 5960 with a new reference number 5960/1A-011 for the owner of Leicester City. A one of one ?
I've had a growing interest in Patek Philippe recently. I was wondering why those of you on TRF that have a Patek, love them so dearly?Any and all comments would be greatly appreciated.
I have really been enjoying my first Panerai especially the different straps. Does anyone know where I can get some oem 22mm spring bars for a Pam 512? I am also ok with a high quality non oem if anyone has options. Thanks
