Just got this 1965 Mulco Escafandra Super Compressor into the rotation after a serious rehab.This watch was T O A S T when I got it a couple of years ago, not running, dial seriously toned, case beat up; just plain ugly...If I remember correctly I paid $10 plus shipping for it, bought via eBay...yes, the auction ended after midnight, but the watch was far from a creampuff.Rec'd it and loved the case (Seamaster-esque?) and dial so decided to restore it.I would post before pics but they all got lost in a pc crash. I detailed the case, had the mvt overhauled, located some NOS hands, had dial refinished in LA, CA. When I got the dial back it looked like a q-tip was used to paint the lume in, so I sent it to International Dial.Got it back and it looked great, but was refinished in GOLD instead of silver.
