Steinhart Mesh Question
Hey guys, I wanted to buy a thicker mesh for my Ocean 2. I've had it on a WJean mesh but it's a bit thin, I think for this watch. I would love to have a Steinhart branded mesh but I've heard mixed reviews about it in terms of fit and finish.Anyone care to share their experience with the mesh? I'm between the 4.5mm thick Steinhart or the 4.8mm thick Staib mesh. The Staib is $100 more but I'm not sure if it's worth it.Also, I'm not sure which size Steinhart mesh I would pick if my wrists are 7.5Anyone know about this?Haha I notice these are a number of questions but any help would be appreciated along with what style mesh is Steinhart selling nowadays?This one?ORThis one?

Better sidekick to the No Date Sub
TRF'ers...in your opinion, disregarding what else may be in the collection, what's a better piece to pair with the No Date Sub (114060):-Explorer 1 (updated 214270 with lumed numerals and longer hands)-GMTC II LNWould the Explorer be too similar in that it is another no date/time only, black dial Rolex with the Mercedes hands, with 'similar' brushed oyster bracelet? Or would it pair nicely in with its smooth bezel, different hour markers on the dial (with the Arabic numerals) and generally wears differently than a sub?Would the GMTC be too similar as it is another black dial Rolex that has a rotating bezel, similar hour markers on the dial, and wears somewhat similar to the sub? Or would it pair nicely as it has the date/cyclops, bezel (while rotating) like the sub) is different, polished center links, and added GMT complication?Looking for opinions and would love to hear from owners who own both of the different pairings. New Rolex Daytona purchase
I have just completed the first part of a transaction that will see me purchasing a T/T 2018 Rolex Daytona 116503 (New Model) White MOP eight Diamonds Dial. I have just Sold a T/T 2017 Rolex Daytona 116503 (New Model) White Dial with Gold Sub Dials. I received a good price for it 9,750 GBP though I didn't sell it to the shop where I bought it less that a year ago, they were unable to pay me what I was looking for. So I sold it elsewhere, but I will be purchasing the new Daytona from the Dealer where I buy all my Watches which is a Grey Dealer in the North of England. They are exceptional when it comes to price. The new Daytona I am purchasing was priced at 14,565 GBP but because I am a regular customer they reduced it by 65 GBP which was very good of them. So the new Watch is costing me 14,500 GBP which is about 18,000 Dollars. I will be flying from my Country to Manchester UK at the end of May to pay the balance owed & collect my new Watch.
