Fans of waltham wrist watches
This is another watch I had hidden away for about ten yrs. Its amazing how good these things run and keep time over the years. God knows the last time they were serviced. I love this watch. It's 14k white gold ,in great shape and keeps good time. It's got nice weight to it, very solid feeling and ornate. The case back says "Star watch case co. ,14k fine, 585/1000". The movmt. says " AWWCO , Waltham, USA " and the # "25" over "558708". It also says "sapphire" on the movmt. I dont know if that refers to the jewels or the crystal, But the crystal does feel like sapphire, no scratches at all. the case size is 1- 1/16' w/out the crown. Again, I'm just looking for info, age and a possible value.Thank you guys ,Kurt

I need a sub second hand for a '41 Sutton. Does anyone know of a source? Also I have a Dodson with a sub second hand in black, main hands are gold. I've seen this in a number of other models, does anyone know if these were replacement or factory options?
