Tudor 79180 wrist watches news:
Diamonds for diamonds sake? Maybe not. Don't overlook the importance of ludicrously gilded timepieces in the haute joaillerie watch category. While such timepieces might wreak of excess, they are often times as complex, or more complex than the mechanical creations we so love. The process of choosing and cutting diamonds (not to mention setting them) is in credibly time consuming. All that in a white gold case with a automatic tourbillon mechanical movement - and you might just start saving up gold bars for this over $1.3 million impulse buy.Read my article on the Blancpain Sp¨¦cialit¨¦s Tourbillon Diamants Watch at Haute Living here.Blancpain watches on eBay here.See Blancpain watches on Amazon here. Hello,I recently inherited a Hamilton Thin-O-Matic from my grandfather. I was hoping to identify a model number and get an idea of how old it is. Also, I can't seem to figure out how to set the date on it. I'm not sure if I'm not doing it right, or if it is stuck. The rear of the watch says Hamilton at the top edge and 10 k.t. g.f. at the bottom edge. I'd appreciate any help. Please let me know if better pics are needed.Thanks.
There is a guy in the Metro-Detroit area selling this watch. Is this real or fake?
I have a couple issues with my Tudor oysterdate. I had it serviced by a local watchmaker last year. Before i had it serviced is lost about 15 seconds a day, now gains about 90 seconds a day. When winding the watch manually, it acts like a gear is grinding or slipping. I think part of the of one of the gear teeth a missing. Sometimes when manually winding you can hear the rotor spinning around. I was jist curious if you had any ideas what minght be wrong?
Since the sport watches I now want aren't easily available without paying a steep premium (BLNR, Hulk, Daytona), I'm thinking about adding a DJ to the collection. It'll also be a nice new piece to round out my 16710 Pepsi and 116613LB Sub.Spoke to an AD who is offering 20% off brand new DJII since he has a bunch of DJ41's in stock now. The DJII is white dial, fluted bezel, which is a combo I'm fond of.Is this a good deal? I'm not as familiar with the market on the DJ so looking for advice. Thanks guys!
