Oris 01 679 7614 4174 07 4 24 44 wrist watches news:
I came accross this thread (which) I responded too, but it is such a 'classic' beginners question, I decided to post a link here:Vintage watch help.info/foru...atch-help.htmlBoth RJ007 and my response, I think are good answers to that question. In order to make some comparrisons, I am posting some other watches that I think are Great Value and Buy It NowlOOk Here:First. Look at this STUNNING Bulova, and ONLY $175GREAT '40's BULOVA DRIVERS WATCH~MASONIC EMBLEM.
So I am kinda on a watch buying binge at the moment and thoughts on my next purchase!I am thinking the subaqua noma III predator chronograph. I really like the look of that and really like the chronograph function. However I would really like an automatic.Must be a stainless steel case and bracelet and water resistant to 200m +Not that I dive that deep but I just like the idea of it:)
I hope I am not violating some forum rule but I'd like to have some suggestion about shops in Toronto which carry these two brands. There are several models of both makers which I'd like to see in the flesh before deciding something and I would like to take advantage of a trip I will have there soon to do this (I live in South America and many of these watches are difficult even to see at a shop), so I would like a large official or semi-official dealer with many models on display. However, after looking them, I might decide to buy something directly during the trip, in which case a place with good prices could also be appreciated. Once again, if it is against the rules to ask for such informations here please move, edit or remove this post as appropriate. I posted it anyway because I would think that at least the official dealers of the brands should be possible to have and for some reason I could find easily the AP dealers (in the AP's page) but not the JLC ones...GLF
Hello,Could anyone give me any info or forward me to a site/forum about these two manual winds pocket watches that just fell into my hands. One says INDUSA, shockproof (left) on the face and the other just says patent london (right). No informative markings on the backs or anywhere else that I can see. The Indusa still works! But is running about 10 minutes slow a day so probably requires a servicing. (is it worth it?) The Patent London however does not work though the winder seems to be ok as there is resistance and clicking when turning. Thanks for looking, triz
I just inherited a lovely 116613 from my dad and I'm in love with it. Now my dad doesn't really take care of his watches. Not just when he's wearing them, but he also doesn't store them well. As a result, this watch is quite beat up. He didn't even wear it as much as his other pieces but it looks like a daily beater of a watch.I love the fact that it has all of the marks from my dads usage over the years, but a small part of me is considering getting the whole case refinished so that I can leave my own marks on this beauty.IMG_20180412_142301 (1).jpgIMG_20180412_142337.jpgIMG_20180412_142235 (1).jpgI've attached some photos, but there are a lot more marks than what I'm showing. What would you guys do?
