Everybody heard about the Prometheus Watch company? It's owned by a Portuguese gentleman named Carlos Carvalho who wanted to offer high value Chinese made timepieces, so he hired a designer and asked for a design inspired by the look of Sinn watches but what he got was an almost exact copy of the Kobold Phantom? When he realized he was offering a homage and not an original watch he lowered the price, from $450 plus $40 shipping, to $300 (or €200) with free shipping. He also got rid of the designer and as he was frustrated by the Chinese's poor QC he is now working on offering a Swiss Made dive watch. Yeah, you've heard of him? Okay. I ordered one of his CR 1 Chinese made Chronographs with the Chinese version of the Valjoux 7750, (paid in Euros (€200) saved $10) and just 8 days later a very well wrapped watch was in my mailbox. * 316L Solid Stainless Steel * Case size 40.5mm * Lug Width 20 mm * Thick 16mm * So So Swiss Lume * Unidirectional Bezel
