Panerai PAM 289 wrist watches news:
META Watch was co-founded by Bill Geiser, who earned his watch industry stripes while working at Fossil. Whatever you might say about Fossil products, what you need to know is that it is run by some extremely smart and professional people out of its Dallas, Texas, headquarters. Geiser went on to be one of the earliest proponents of modern smart watches. According to him, he has been wearing a Bluetooth connected watch for about five years now ¨C perhaps the only one wearing one for so long. Today, Bill Geiser is the CEO of META Watch that recently released the Frank Nuovo-designed M1 smartwatch collection (hands-on here, with interview). Frank Nuovo is a former head of design at Nokia and designed the M1 collection ¨C which I thought was actually pretty interesting.Anyhow, even though META is putting considerable resources behind the M1 smartwatch collection, it is only the start of what Bill feels are a series of major evolutionary steps for the smartwatch industry. META doesn't just wa
First let me say hello. I've been a lurker for quite a while now and enjoy browsing on this forum. Let me first start by saying that I am an Omega FREAK!! I've always loved the Planet Ocean series. From the calibre 2500 to the current 8500. They are just awesome. I have finally reached the point in my life where I'm ready to take the plunge and get my first real timepiece. After lots of researching and countless trips to the A.D. I have narrowed my selection down to just a couple. I believe that the watch I will be buying is either the Omega Chronograph 9300 or the Omega 8605 GMT. Both watches are unique in their own way and I'm not going to go into the differences because you all know what there are. My question to members on this board is which one would you choose? I look forward to the discussion that ensues and everyone's answers. I know that either watch I choose will be a great watch, just don't want to have any regrets. Thanks Dave
Gents,I’ve always thought the 5205 was an interesting piece. I like the rg and black dial (which no1 can read apparently) and the new model 2018 announced version. Not sure if I want to make a run for one or not. The watch was VERY comfortable on my 6.5 bony wrist. I often have issues with strap watches but this one seemed very comfortable. I actually prefer tangs as deployants and my small wrist often are a mess together. I don’t love how the hands are attached and ruin the 22-2 hour range on the 24hr sub. I know this one is unloved so entry price is obviously very important. I just ran off negative stuff but mostly I’m down with the beauty of the thing. But this is my main question to the group with experience with this model or other ACs. I rotate daily big time. Wasn’t an issue with my SKyD as the ring command was AMAZING to quickly set. How about these ACs? Are the adjusters annoying and a pain? Can you break the thing if it’s the wrong t
Hi All, I got a 2004 16710 pepsi with the full works about 2 years ago and got it serviced by Rolex UK, in total about ?3500 including the service (Yes I know they were just over ?2200 new!). My question is about values - around the time I got mine, dealers were asking ?5000 then over a few months that increased to around ?6000. It seems crazy money - and now seems to have settled at about that level. What are peoples thoughts on why, and what may happen next? It's not like it was just discontinued a year or two ago!
I'm continuing to research the Explorer 1 to help make a decision on which of the Rolex Explorer 1's I will be looking to purchase, (money no object it would be the 1016 but due to the demand and value this may be a bit ambitious for my budget?)I did find the attached on the internet that may be of use to others in a similar situation,I'm based in England and would appreciate if anyone could advise as to the price range of Explorer 1's relevant to the dates posted and the watch being in a Good pre owned condition, my gut feeling so far is that the 114270 will be what I will be pursuing, although I've not ruled out a mid 90's 14270, decision's decisions..........
