- I have had this watch for weeks now but have yet to wear it. My husband couldn't get links out so that it would fit me, so I have to take it somewhere to have it adjusted. This is very inconvenient and will cost me.

Cartier W51008Q3 wrist watches news:
This has been briefly summarized only once in the archives of WTF that I can find.Back in the early 60's, so the story goes, the People's Liberation Army Air Force wanted a watch for their pilots. It needed a chronograph function, but the Chinese watch companies of the day had not developed their own. About the same time, the Swiss ebauchery Venus was on hard times, and their famous caliber 175 was no longer popular as it had been (having been found on early Breitling Navitimers, among others), because it was a handwind movement.Their idea was to sell their tooling for the 175 and use the proceeds to fund the development of a lever-action replacement that could be made into an automatic. And they had long-since replaced the 175 in their lineup with the 188. But that's a different story.Venus looked around for a buyer, again so the story goes, and couldn't find one. Poljot was already disassembling a Valjoux 7733 to reverse-engineer it, and that ultimately became the Poljot 3133a copy o
So I have been building up this crazy collection of Illinois watchesover the years and slowly but surely getting these little treasures back to showroom new...Upgrading dials, better cases, movements, you name it...Plus, lots of trips to Jesse! One "time consuming" and frustrating thing I never reallygot around to, was the task of getting all that missing Enamelback up to speed.SOOO, a little birdie (or 2) tells me about an easy and very coolmethod for doing this on my ownHummm???Check this out Gang!An Enamel PEN!I take it they are used by modeling (not supermodels Rick!)folks and they are around 5 bucks. The tip is like a sharpie (only thicker) and pure black enamel paint goes right into the cracks of the bezel and sides. Before:Middle:The trick I have found (Thanks Rick) is to let it sit for no longer than 45 seconds and gently glide the whole area over a soft cloth...This is what the swipe marks should look like on the cloth:More paint and fades away...The black stays in the grooves an

hi guys planning to buy brietling superocean heritage 42 but confused should i take black dial with black bezel or blue dial and blue bezel please help
I'm interested in a PP 5127 (R or J) and I would likely trade my Rolex DD toward the PP. I understand they're different watches, but is this a good idea?I've seen service times on Pateks taking up to 17 months and people worrying about wearing them regularly. I'd expect mine to be (mostly) a daily wear watch. Is this crazy? Rolexes can be serviced fairly easily and quickly and they're not generally regarded as safe queen watches. Again, I know they're different, but can I expect a totally different ownership experience? Thanks for your thoughts.
