I'm not even sure I have this straight in my mind. Before buying, I wanted to make sure that RT wasn't Chinese owned(I have my reasons, mostly, if I'm spending this much, it better be Swiss). Report on a Chinese pile of.... ¨C or perhaps not?
Well, I posted a few weeks ago on a couple of incomings, one an English made Smiths gold wristwatch, and the other this Cjaba ¡°Russian¡± watch. I put the country of origin in inverted commas as I¡¯m not really sure if it is Chinese or Russian made, although it says ¡°poccha¡± on the dial, which I¡¯m guessing means Russia¡­ This one came to me brand new for the grand price of ¡ê8, and at the time I said I would be surprised if it lasted a week, or kept any sort of decent time. I wasn¡¯t even sure if the case would turn out to be plastic, metal or recycled underwear! So, after nearly 3 weeks of ownership I thought I¡¯d put together a sort of first impressions report. Straight out of the packaging the watch was surprisingly heavy, with a large case (~40mm diameter, excluding the crown, and probably 15mm deep), and quite striking.
