Panerai PAM236 wrist watches news:
There are ¡ª of course! ¡ª many reasons to visit Switzerland, but if you are into watches, a Swiss trip should feel a bit like Heaven on Earth (for you, that is; perhaps not for your fellow travelers who don’t share your passion equally).Along with the many great watch shopping (and window shopping) opportunities, Switzerland is also, as you would expect, home to many great watch museums. Unfortunately, some of the most fascinating collections are “by appointment only” and therefore require a bit of planning ahead (as with the museums of Longines, Audemars Piguet, Jaeger-LeCoultre, etc.). In this article, we introduce you primarily to some of the most interesting Swiss watch museums that all have regular visiting hours. Here are my top seven:MIH ¨C The Mus¨¦e international d¡¯Horlogerie in La Chaux-de-Fonds houses one of the world’s largest collections of watches and clocks. It is open six days a week from 10 AM to 5 PM (closed on Monday) and offers the perfect start
New from Glashutte Original for 2010 is the Senator Diary watch. What is it? Basically a mechanical alarm watch that can be set up to 31 days in the future as opposed to "tomorrow." It has an in-house made automatic movement with the time, date, and the unique alarm complication. What is the "diary" part of the watch? You can whisper your hopes, dreams, and celebrity crushes to the watch - and it will never share your secrets with anyone else.See my Glashutte Original Senator Diary watch article at Haute Living here. Hello,New here, i was wondering if i could get some links to sites that sell watch cases.Other than ofrei, i am having trouble finding what i am looking for. I have a 40mm pam homage case on its way from jackson ( military time) but i was wondering if there were any other legit dealers out there that have a better selection than just the typical parnis style cases.Any help is appriciated!thanks,PJ
I have a Rubber Clad on the way. Hopefully this time it will be authentic (for those of you that saw my last post and thanks again for pointing out the replica through the pictures). Pictures will follow once it's here, hopefully today or tomorrow. The band was replaced with a Hornback strap but it shows wear near the mounting pins on one side. Where is a good place to pick up a new or used in good condition authentic AP (possibly hornback again) strap for a somewhat reasonable cost?
I had been researching my next purchase for a while, I had looked at and considered many models and brands. Eventually I decided that I would get a Patek 5146 annual calendar. My AD had ordered another strap for my 5167 and I was supposed to go and get it yesterday. I had asked a couple weeks ago about seeing a 5146 but didn't specify metal or dial, at the time they did not have one.Lucky me, because they got in 25 or so Pateks after not receiving any for a long while. I got to try on pretty much all the models I had been considering including: 5396, 5146, 5119, 5127, and the 5123. The 5146J-010 was the one. I knew I liked the gray dial just from the pictures and it was confirmed when I tried it on.The 5146 is a lot of money, but I couldn't leave it behind. With that, I present to you my annual calendar.
