- Ordered the black band with topaz crystals. It's very pretty, but arrived running with the time already set. How did that happen with a new watch?Wrist is 6 1/2 and requires the last hole on the leather strap.Miss Mary

Panerai Pam 29 wrist watches news:
I've got a 1967 Omega Speedmaster Professional, handed down from my father. I was wearing it on my trip this past weekend and, evidently, hit it on something while working my way to my flight in Minneapolis. I say evidently because when I got situated in my seat I checked the time and it was off by a large margin. I buckled up, secured my bag and checked my watch again, and it was an entirely different time. I pulled the watch off my wrist and saw the main hands swinging all over the dial! Still attached but not controlled by anything.I pulled out the crown and got some movement via the crown but only going backwards. There was little to no movement going forwards via the crown. What did I do?!I had the watch in a local shop recently. They had it 7 months, replacing the main spring and cleaning it up. I don't know if the current state of the watch is something for which they may be responsible, nor do I really want to take it back there. But they took 7 months of my life and $70
Hi all. New to the forums, in fact, fairly new to automatic watches... I've been looking for a automatic for a few months now and after a long search decided on the Omega Railmaster 36mm. Since its discontinued, anyone have a good idea where to get one? I'm not opposed to pre owned. Thanks!
Hi all,The Nautilus is my dream watch, but I find the decision between 5711 and 5712 almost impossible. I love basic 3 handers and all indices visible (Think Rolex 14060 or 1016) so that says 5711. I also love micro rotors, power reserves and small red contrasts on a dial, so that all says 5712.Anyway, my question is: Did you ever own one - and up/downgrade it to the other? (5780 and 5726 does not count)I am fascinated with how torn I am between the 2, so wondering If anyone else feels the sameThx, M
I need your help. I am no Patek expert but i frequent this forum to admire all your stunning PP. Maybe not now but in the future for sure i will have a PP in my collection.I have a question in dire need of your suggestion. What would be the market value of the Patek Phillippe 5101P 10 days Tourbillon? I believe the retail is around $330K but not sure how collector or market value this piece. any help will be appreciated..gemnation/watches/Pat...101P-1465.html
