Patek Philippe 5022 wrist watches news:
Hey everybody,Im a student making an exchange in Bologna, Italy, for 6 months and since the prices on watches seem pretty good here, Ive decided to buy my first "real" watch, prob. a used Omega Speedmaster 3572.50 or 3573.50. I managed to found one in a store that sells/repairs watches, the owner who has had the store for almost 30 years had one himself that he got recently and were prepared to sell. He showed me the watch and told me it was an 3573.50, not more than a couple of years old, and that he wanted 2300 euros for it. He told me that he had the box, but not the warrenty since the previous owner had "lost it" during a divorce from his wife, or something like that. It should be added that the watch is in 99.5% condition visually. Well, over to the questions...First, how can I verify that the watch is genuine, the model, its age etc? The bracelet lock lacked the two buttons that u use push to open the bracelet. Ive seen on almost every object on the internet having these.. is th
Hi, guys -I see that there are a good number of Benrus fans here - and I'm fast becoming one myself - so I was hoping someone could help me ID this watch. Actually, I've found a good bit of info on the BB 4 movement, which seems to have been one of Benrus' go-to movements. What I'm really after is a way to identify the model/name of the watch itself. And, of course, to date its manufacture accurately. I really like this watch, though it just doesn't quite look right on my wrist. Guess I'm not classy enough! It is a neat watch. though, and runs like a champ.Any info will be gratefully received and much appreciated.Thanks!CIMG5644.jpgCIMG5663.jpgCIMG5684.jpg
I want a another nice, decent watch, and have narrowed it down to 3 types, A Gervil, a Longines and an Oris.Has anyone any experience with any of these...quality wise?Gervil Heritagelongines dolcevita:Oris Miles:thanks :D
Hi everyone, On my previous thread I asked for opinions on a trade (RO for Diver). Clearly opinions were divided across and many provided some sound reasons to stay put. Well I'm sure most of you can relate, once it's 'in your head' it's hard to let it go. I wearing it as I type this and I certainly feel it'll get a lot more wrist time than the RO. It definitely has a lot more presence and the AP rubber strap it's awesome! Thanks,
Gotta say this quirky watch is growing on me. I know itĄŻs a bit thick but still like it a lot. Any comments from owners and pictures would be appreciated.
