Panerai PAM 177 wrist watches news:
Vintage watches are a hot topic these days. All you need to do is spend some time on Instagram, in the Facebook watch groups, or any number of high profile blogs (including worn&wound) to see incredible examples of horological art and function from decades ago. Part of the reason these watches are a hot topic is the fascinating history behind them. Not just the provenance or mystery/history behind individual watches, but the history of the brands too.To that end, this is the first of a (hoped for) series of articles on those histories. We'll hope to entertain you a bit, and add to your knowledge of things horological as seen through and told by the roles these brands played.Certainly, at this point in history, there is no bigger player than the Swatch Group. These days, because of the brands they own and the efforts of ETA (which the Group also owns) to limit distribution of ¨¦bauches (unassembled, unfinished movements), they're the 800 pound gorilla in the industry, and all eyes ar
Is this enough gold for you Leo?? A friend of a friends custom made Boucheron. Not so familiar with that brand but I thought it might interest a member or two? Not quite my taste.
My baby was in a bad mood and crying the whole night. This morning i was like walking in the moon and a walk through the door. Very light contact between the door handle and the watch. My heart skipped a beat. Now it has a very light scratch on the bezel. The scratch is on 3.30 oclock. I know some of you will kindly smooth me with adding character to the watch thing, but im kinda perfectionist freak. I can not surpass this and keep my eye off it.Now come a question:Im willing to pay few hundred usd for this to disappear. I know this scratch can be esialy remove by a good watchmaker since its very light. Can i make an appointment with AP service centrel in Singapore, bring it in and collect after a day with only that part polishing? Should i bring it to independent watchmaker that skillful enough to do so? In that case, he must located in Singapore as well since i dont have change to go anywhere else in short period. Will it void my warranty? The watch is only 4 months old. Thanks you guy
