Hey guys!I just saw this on the bay and I felt physical pain in my stomach!Somebody took a sterling silver trench watch that has an integrated snap on shrapnel guard and they CUT most of the guard off so only the outside ring is showing ! ! ! ! ! !I guess they wanted it to look decorative or something.............I usually never comment about things I see on the bay but this is the WORST thing that I have EVER seen that has been done to a watch ! ! ! ! ! !Waltham Sterling Silver Watch OR250960641861These cases that still have the snap on guards are INCREDIBLY HARD to come by (especially in sterling silver), what in the world was the person thinking who cut it up ? ? ? ? ? ?ARRRGGGG ! ! ! ! ! ! ! Inspired by the recent thread about what watches you would trade out of, I have begun seriously considering getting rid of my Omega NZL-32 as I rarely if ever wear it anymore. In my search so far, I have begun to heavily favor the JLC Reverso Grand Taille in SS: Watches - Reverso Grande TailleHowever, before I take the plunge hopefully sometime in the next few months, I thought I would ask for other suggestions. Criteria are as follows: 1. On a strap, preferably brown 2. Sale price below $4500 (this does not mean the MSRP must be below $4500)3. White/Silver Face 4. Appropriate for dress attire and everyday use5. Not overly complicated (hour, minutes, seconds, optional date)6. At the same level of watch making as JLC (there are many fine watches but I am looking for a higher-end choice)The Reverso really attracts me because it has unique qualities but is classic and clean.Thanks in advance for any help.

Let me fill you in on my thought process of the big 3 battle (3570, 3572, 3573):I've read all the debates and after viewing hesalite vs sapphire today, understand all sides now which makes it even more difficult.I can definitely see what the allure of the hesalite is and it's not just for moon watch purists. The dome and the the light cast from it are beautiful. BUT, I was surprised how close the sapphire was. Not completely night and day IMO. Also, the sapphire back was not as much of a deal breaker as I thought it would be. The movement is beautiful, but with the bracelet on, the field of view of it is not that great. (looks so much cooler on the internet ;) So my final answer is... The 3572.50, because it is discontinued and very desirable for good reason--it's simply the best imo. Second would be a new hesalite 3570 and third would be a new sapphire sandwich.If I bought a used speedy with unknown service should I immediately service it? (on a 3572 it would be at least 9 ye
