Bremont Creates Clock for Jaguar XJ75 Concept Car
Bremont has produced a bespoke mechanical clock and stopwatch for the Jaguar XJ75 Platinum Concept Car, a one-of-a-kind design project that was displayed on the Pebble Beach Concept Car Lawn during the recent Concours d’Elegance. Over the last few years, Cartier's Fine Watchmaking department has been consistently pushing out some of the most creative and technically impressive haute horology around. Just a few weeks ago we showed you the new Astrocalendaire and today we've got another stunner for you. The Rotonde de Cartier Earth and Moon uses its tourbillon and a moving Lapis Lazuli disc to display the phase of the moon on demand and there is a second timezone display as well. The Earth and Moon is as much a mechanical sculpture as it is a timekeeper and here we've got all the details.The Earth and Moon is not a subtle watch – far from it. The platinum case comes in at 47mm across and 16.65mm thick, with robust arching lugs. The dial is bright blue lapis lazuli with a white gold Roman numeral grid over the top that also features a map of the earth at the center. Maybe A Problem?!
Hi Guys & GirlsI have had my bond seamaster for a good few months now, and im really pleased with it, it doesnt pick up scrathes and marks very easily, the front of the watch, and dial is still in perfect condition!.I just have 1 question, over the last few weeks, it seems to be slowly losing time, then when it gets to about 4-5 minutes slow, i alter it to the correct time, then a few weeks later it will be in the same situation.Its happened twice. any ideas why this might be happening. i either put the watch in the original box in its original position, or i lay it on my bed side table, face up.Do i need to check anything?I also requested the 007 leaflet, telling the number of my watch, and that all arrived, with the watch tag, and they sent me a little casino royale book, all free of charge, ive got the cosc cert aswell, so ive got everything with it now, thankfully.Thanks for your help.Matthew

Buying from AD in Japan
I managed to talk my brother into buying a Rolex to replace his speedmaster reduced and in the end he bought a 36mm DJ. He is very pleased with his Rolex and now looking to get a sub no date.He lives in Japan and he told me that ADs in Japan don't take waiting list for watches, is that true? I know that there are many resellers in Japan but what if you want to get an SS sports model from an AD? Do you just go there everyday and hope for the best?Any members in Japan can provide some thoughts? Thank you
