- I have had this watch for weeks now but have yet to wear it. My husband couldn't get links out so that it would fit me, so I have to take it somewhere to have it adjusted. This is very inconvenient and will cost me.

Panerai PAM 177 wrist watches news:
The HODINKEE Collectors Summit is really taking shape. Not only will we have the likes of Aurel Bacs, Jason Singer, John Reardon, and Philippe Dufour in the house for completely candid, behind the scenes conversation with you, but we are thrilled to announce a new addition the schedule. And it's a big one. Like, to the tune of $24,000,000. Daryn Schnipper is the international chairman of the Sotheby's watch department. She is the woman responsible for selling the most expensive, most important watch on the planet, twice. Yes, Daryn is the woman who first set the record at $11 million dollars for the Henry Graves Supercomplication – one we thought would stand for all eternity – only to break it this past November by selling the very same watch for over $24 million. She'll be at the 2015 HODINKEE Collectors Summit to tell you what it was like first discovering this horological giant and then going through the process of researching it, understanding
I was watching the news today and it said that in order for us to catch up to the earth's something or another, the atomic clock will be halted at midnight and then restarted a second later. They called it a "leap second".Has anyone else heard about this? It sure didn't get much play on the other news channels I watch.Happy New Year. We're off to 2 New Years Eve parties and they're black and white dress, so I'll be wearing my Daytona. It's below zero wind chill tonight. I love the cold weather.Steve R"How will you remember your 2008 leap second?Updated Wed. Dec. 31 2008 5:03 PM ETCTV.ca News StaffThe countdown in anticipation of the New Year will last a moment longer than in years past by one second to be exact. A "leap second" will be added to 2008, making it the longest year in more than a decade, thanks to the leap day that was already added back in February. The extra time will be squeezed in between 6:59 p.m. and 7 p.m. Eastern Standard Time on Wednesday. Most of the world's
Decided to celebrate end of 20s and new success in my career (new well paid job) with my first serious watch. Wanted the blue dial 15400 or 15202, went to the boutique in Geneva and was told that waiting times are at least 2 years for 15400 and 4 for 15202. Was shown some black dials and white dial RO but didn't like either, then the sales person tells me that they have a new boutique only edition the grey ruthenium dial and that it might be what I am looking for. Instantly fell in love with the grey ruthenium dial, couldn't stop staring at it all day. It keeps changing colors depending on the light, going from dark grey - silver grey - light grey - steel grey, its driving me a bit crazy , love the watch. Some photos under different lighting conditions in attachments.
Just received this Royal Oak Chrono, the Alinghi City of Sails from Tony G at JustRolexes. It was produced in 2003, one of 1250 made. It's 39mm, so a bit smaller than most of what AP is producing these days, and I like that it has kind of an offshore vibe but scaled down. Also, as you can tell from the position of the date, it has the 2385 movement, so is a relatively thin 11.5mm.I'm excited to have an AP in the rotation again -- I had a 15300 a while ago, but traded it in for my Nautilus. The AP fills a sporty but elegant role for me, more sporty than the Patek, but not as sporty as a Rolex.
Kind of curious where non ADs get new Rolex from? I totally get the pre-owned ones probably come from trade-in but do the new ones come directly from the Rolex factory? Is there a min order? Just curious if anyone knows.... Sent from my Nexus 6P using Tapatalk
