Although all are part of the current collection, these pieces reflect the history of each model while keeping pace with the current state of the IWC. For example, it is now possible to see just what the 1955 engineer would look like the current dimensions (42.5 mm) as opposed to the original 37.5 mm. While the first 140 Platinum models will be sold in a set of limited edition, the variants in stainless steel are available individually and indefinitely, making their good and really part of the contemporary collection.

Definitely a grail....one I probably will never see is an A Lange & Sohne.When I first saw this collection at my AD, I was smitten with the elegance and craftsmanship of these watches. Which model? Not sure, too many I really like. Now if I could just pick those six numbers correctly on that card....Grails don't always equal exorbitant prices, just seems that way. What grails do you dream of?
