The Micro Artist Studio is a tiny subset of the Seiko manufacture that is the absolute elite unit, responsible for hand-crafting not only the incredible Eichi II, but also the Credor Minute Repeater and Sonnerie. Today, for the first time, we saw a Grand Seiko that was given the Micro Artist treatment, and it did not disappoint. 1 OF 3 First, one must understand that the craftsman in the Micro Artist Studio are top, top tier. They are the group that visits no one short of Mr. Philippe Dufour with some regularity, and the group that Mr. Dufour to this day holds in extremely high regard. This is true high-end finishing of the highest order, an until now, this has been reserved for Credor product. A couple of reoccurring forum quirks/issues/problems
I've been having two intermittent problems of late with the forumFirst, I get a message that goes something like this every 10th post or so, "Your post have been saved and will appear when approved" or close to it.Second, for the last three days straight, the forum logs me out on my first visit. This happens on my Mac running OS 10.9 running the Mozilla browser Seamonkey (close cousin to Firefox) and on my iPhone using iOS 7. This one is kind of a pain, because like everyone else, I have so many passwords these days that the first time I tried to re-log in, I ran afoul of the forum's 5 try rule. Recent delivery of 5711 in the U.S.?
Hi,Has anyone taken a delivery of 5711 steel, either blue or white dial, during the last few weeks in the U.S.? I am on the waitlist for both dials (preference for white) at 2 ADs and apparently they have not been given a white dial since March. Typically, both of them receive 3 white dials in a year. However, they are yet to receive their remaining 2 white dials for the year. It seems that Patek has really dried up 5711s in the U.S. Just checking whether it is a more widespread phenomenon.
