- I really liked the watch, however, it was way too for my wrist. Suggestion, the ability to remove one more link would vide greater flexibilty for er wrist people.

Panerai PAM 00308 wrist watches news:
It is charming when you have someone who doesn't know a lot about watches do an article on the watch industry. That isn't to say that the journalist erred in their reporting, but rather that there is a degree of naivete to the tone regarding the topic of discussion, which is watch advertising. A lot of people correctly point out that there is a lot of consistency among watch advertising. You see the hands in the same orientation most of the time, and the date often has an "8" in it, or is at 31. The orientation of the hands is usually at about 10:10. There is nothing at all significant about this time, it is all aesthetics any symmetry. Two hands pointing up in a more or less symmetrical position just seems to look better. The article points out how watch ads of old basically had the hands in the opposite position pointing down. It was then decided that hands pointing down, just look "down," and the trend was then to place them pointing up. The whole point of any watch ad is to make the
While going through some old boxes the other day I came across an old Bulova Accutron that I bought myself over 30 years ago. The battery died a long time ago and I never got around to replacing it. I put it away during one of our moves and it was forgotten until now. I just had my jeweler put a new battery in it and it works! I just set the time this afternoon but so far it is keeping good time. The crystal is scratched and needs to be replaced. It is 37mm wide. The case back, it needs to be cleaned.Notice the bracelet, no clasp! It is a flexible Speidel USA bracelet.Another shot of the Speidel flexible bracelet.Wrist shotI don't know what one of these would be worth today but it is full of memories for me and therefore priceless.
so what time should we set our watches? aren't we not supposed to mess with them around midnight when the date is changing?
Alright gents,I'm currently debating on my next watch purchase. This will be my first time purchasing a luxury watch. I'm torn between the Bell & Ross BR01-92 or the IWC Classic Pilot Chrono. They are both on the reasonable price range for my budget. I love both of their looks. I was originally turned off by the fancy dials on the IWC but looking on the pictures from the forums, the watch really looks good. I will go down to the local AD who has both of them on hand soon but I want to know what you guys think. Please feel free to opine.
