- This is a lovely watch. I can see the numbers easily which is what I was looking for. The band is 7 inches which fits my narrow wrist nicely.

Considering that I own two Victorinox Swiss Army watches, I was curious how long they had been making watches. Of course, Victorinox has been making knives since the late 1800s, but surprisingly, they only went into the watch making business in 2001. They brag that they never have laid off an employee and purposefully sock away funds during the good times to help pay for the bad times.Of the two Victorinox watches I own, both seem well built, and look good to my eye and in a year, they have performed flawlessly. But, Victorinox, as far as I know, only uses ETA movements and doesn't make their own.So, how does the fact that they have only been making watches for 11 or 12 years affect yo
OK so I'm saving at a pretty good rate for something else...you know a big purchase, like another Breitling, Omega, or Longines...BUT....those dang trips to Costco...I saw a nice Zenith and another nice Oris, pluse a new Aquaracer....then at then end of one aisle a whole pyramid of these for $30!I bought two.
Looking for the maker of a watch. The watch is silver w/Mercury dimes in the band and as the face of the watch. On the back of the watch is a crown stamp w/ the initials JJ under the crown. There is a crown stamp on the clasp as well.
