Panerai PAM00305 wrist watches news:
I have to say that I tend to peruse an item more online and only go into an AD when I have a burning need to burn off some GBPs. Besides all that the watches I want are all discontinued in any event so it's online for me for the very most part. How about you guys? Do you visit ADs often? I know some of you have great rapport with your ADs.Y'all have a nice day nowZIN
Now I don't know about most of you guys (or "youse guys" for people from Jersey) but I don't see many Omegas when I'm out and about (ie not under house arrest). Recently, my wife and I have been "vacationing" at hospitals. Now I saw some Doc sportin' a Connie at Johns Hopkins and another Connie wearing physician at a local hospital last week. Added to my CPA and the guy who "manages" my investments ("don't pull out, don't pull out. Trust me." . sob, sob)that makes Connies the most common Omega model I have seen. I'm talking modern Constellations here, not Pie Pans. While I realize that very few people on the forums care for them(when I got mine last year I only got a few positive comments) it seems that maybe the general public is buying bunches of them. So, my question is, does anybody else see these things wrapped around somebodys wrists? Don
This is my 85 year old fathers watch and he just gave it to me to remember him by. His father bought this watch, and two additional ones identical, for him and his two brothers. It was always cool as a young kid getting together and seeing my uncles with the same watch my father had. My father wore it every day for decades until he got an Ironman watch that he could beat up and the Sportsmatic went into a drawer to be passed on to me someday. Dads got Parkinsons and won't be around much longer and I'd like to get the watch refurbished before he goes. I'd love for him to see it all shiney and new before he passes. The problem is I like watches, I just don't work on them. It needs to be done right and I don't know anyone who could do it right. So, does anyone know anyone reputable and trustworthy either on this forum, or online, or in Albuquerque that could refurbish this watch, and do it right? I think the curved crystal will be hard to find and it might need a new movement. When I shak
Question for ROC owners out there. I've finally got my 25860 back and love it. How do you like your ROC 25860/26300 on a bracelet vs strap? I've contacted AP and they officially don't support conversion of my model, but obviously AP Bands does. There are great looking brown and black leather bands with white stitching I'm tempted by. They have rubber ones also but with the crappy WR rating this isn't really a sports watch. Thanks for any advice!
US Open semis: Wawrinka is rocking what I think is a FC Diver... BTW - if you like tennis - this is an epic match. Doubtful the finals could eclipse it.
