The 1966 line from Girard-Perregaux is easily the purest from this manufacture of haute horlogerie. But, it might be the easiest to forget too, because GP has become known for not only waterproof sport watches like the Chrono Hawk, but also for truly cutting edge masterworks like the 2013 GPHG winning Constant Escapement LM. HELP!!! Omega Family Heirloom! NEW PICTURES!!!
Hey to AllNew member here! One of my distant relatives passed away and left me several items. One of them is this watch. Now, I own several omega watches (the current, more Bond-Esque styled models) and recognize the fact that this is a vintage Omega SeaMaster Deville Automatic. However, I would like to know the specific year of its vintage and perhaps what model it is? It has several unqiue features not present on other Omega such as there is no "WATERPROOF" logo beneath the Omega seal on the back. I have included pictures. Any more info on this beautiful watch would be appreciated! Thanks so very much! Sorry for the bad pics but my camera is down so I had to take these with my phone. I will try to post more better ones later...
