Patek Philippe Patek Philippe 50799 wrist watches news:
Had a first class enabler from another forum tip me off to one of my Most Wanted watches for my ultra-thin collection.Seller's pics:It's a caliber 1466U, my first vintage Eterna and the only full rotor ultra-thin with a date feature in my collection. I'm having a pretty good December so far!
just founded a clearer photo of this mysterious watch.
Wasted no time snapping this one up. I predict this will be a huge success for AP. Much better in the flesh than most of the photos I had seen. Also offered the titanium at the time of purchase but waiting a little on that one.
Some of my Rolex buddies will probably think this is crazy but I have an excellent condition (perfect condition actually) TT Bluesy submariner 116613LB that I think I can get $10,300 for (two gray dealers offered me $9500 for it) and use that toward buying a brand-new AP Royal Oak Offshore chronograph. My only concern is the bezel of the AP looks like it is the ultimate scratch magnet. What do you guys think? Is the movement in this AP dependable? Who has them and really likes them? I would absolutely have to sell the submariner to help finance the AP. Thanks!!
I purchased a 14060 (not a M model) and have been really surprised at the differences between my 14060M and my 16610 LV. The case is thinner - I'd say at least by 1 mm. So it wears very nicely on the wrist. The dial also looks smaller, maybe the bezel is thinner, but it overall looks like a smaller watch at least compared with my 16610. The hands are thinner than my 16610. Anyway, just thought I'd share my observations. I can now see why there are folks that like the older models. I have a feeling this 14060 will get a lot of wrist time.
