Hi AllI am new here and just like to say thanks for a good forum So, my question.I seek a vintage IWC, from the 1950¡äs-pre 1970. The watch will be used as a daily watch. I am far from a vintage expert, so I need your help.Witch model is the strongest from that time, to be a good, solid day to day watch? Also, what movement is the best to go for? Yesterday, after my new Longines Hydroconquest arrived by FedEx, I took it to one of my local hometown jewelers to have a couple of links removed from the bracelet. It has been a regular practice of mine because of their friendliness and the low price they charge for this service. Each time I go in to have one of my watch bracelets altered, I feel a tinge of guilt for never having actually purchased a watch from them. The store has a large selection of fine jewelry items (diamond and gemstone rings and such. But they also have a selection of Bulova, Accutron, and Caravelle watches, as well as Pulsar, Reactor, and Citizen. So, it was with this thought in mind that I went in yesterday to have my Longines bracelet sized. I new that oftentimes one can find certain models of a particular brand of watch in jewelry stores that one may not see in large department stores like Macy's, etc. So I thought I would see if this would be the case. Would I see a Bulova or Accutron model that might catch

I¡¯ve only just noticed that the Rolex website doesn¡¯t show any 36mm models or meteorite dials.Does anyone know when this change came about?Regards

Daytona dial change
Hello. New to trf. Had a question. Lots of em actually but let¡¯s start here. I love the Daytona ice blue dial. Seems like I only see it on the platinum Daytona. Is there a version with the ice blue dial in stainless steel? (Love the platinum version but it¡¯s a bit pricey for me).Would it be totally taboo or impractical to buy a stainless in say white and have the dials switched? Thank you for your opinions and knowledge in advance. Always trying to learn more about Rolex and appreciate all the people on this forum.
