- This watch is VERY beautiful, but the guts (gears) are plastic. [...] We were told of the frequent breakage by both Meijers and a local jewler.

Omega 123.50.35.20.58.001 wrist watches news:
Jaquet Droz announces a series of five timepieces, each produced in a limited edition of eight pieces. These unique watches share beautiful dials created using the Grand Feu enameling technique to obtain a color of unique depth and luminosity: Jaquet Droz blue. Whereas ivory or black enamel needs 10 to 15 firings, blue requires no fewer than 20. Before each one, the dial surface is dusted with a layer of powder no more than a millimeter thick. This superposition of layers give the blue its special radiance and distinctive hue. Though each dial requires significant time and skill to create, less than one dial in ten passes inspection and goes on to adorn one of the five models of La Ligne Bleue: the Grande Seconde, the Grande Seconde Medium, the Grande Date, the Quanti¨¨me Perp¨¦tuel and L¡¯Origine Email.Suggested retail prices:Grande Seconde: $22,000.00Grande Seconde Medium: $22,000.00Grande Date: $25,00.00Quantieme Perpetuel: $53,000.00L¡¯Oringine: $10,000.00
Hi all,I am trying to identify the watch worn by David Hemmings in Blow Up. photoschule/fotografi...p_presse08.jpgand outnow.ch/Media/Movies/Bilder...film.ws/05.jpgThe movie came out in 1966. Does anyone have any idea what it might be. I am looking to buy a similar style watch for myself but have no idea what to look for. Thanks and happy new year!
I just wanted to share this very happy day for me! I just got my new Speedy Pro (Hesalite). I'm from the Philippines but currently in New Jersey for work. I made myself promise that I cannot go back home without a Seedy Pro. And so I got one out of my very first paycheck! I already have a Seamaster Bond but I've been wanting the Speedmater ever since. I was contemplating if I wanted to get the Speedy Pro sandwich but after reading so many posts about the Hesalite as the true historical peice, I finally decided to get this!Hope you enjoy the pictures I took just a few hours of acquiring my new gift to myself.
Recently I have been tempting by the beauty of The great nautilus 5712 blue dial. So I put my name on the waiting list at the AD in Bangkok about 3 weeks ago. I was called this morning about the incoming of the beautiful 5712. But....the thing is I was told (kind of being forced) to buy the 5712 together with the Hublot Classic fusion which I have never had my eyes on the model and the brand. If I do not agree on the offer, 5712 would be offered to the other customers. Just curious, as I never have an experience buying Nautilus with an Ad. Is this a normal procedure for an AD to deal with such a rare and hot item like a Nautilus? Has anyone experience the same situation?Should I go for it or pass this beauty because I don't like being forced to buy another watch that I am not interested?PS.. the price I was offered was the full list price, no discount, or whatsoever that makes me feel a little better about the deal. Appreciate all your readings.
Out of curiosity why sub vs sd43? Both diving and depth rated beyond where anyone would dive to. Is one too big or too small depending upon your preference? Sd43 has new movement. Which would you buy and why? If you already have one which did you get and why? And for that matter let’s throw the dssd into the mix. Is that one just too big? Thanks
