Help with a vintage Seamaster Cosmic?
So I stumbled across this 1970s Seamaster Omega shortly before the Ebay auction ended. Only had one picture, but the seller had good feedback so I went for it. Now that it's in hand, I'm not so sure I made a good decision. I don't have the means to open the case back properly, so I can't take a look at the movement. The things that I'm worried about the lack of "Swiss Made" any where on the dial, there is no "box" around the day/date, and the hands have tails (which I've read is incorrect?)The seller stated the crystal, date wheel and crown were recently replaced. The crown is nice and shiny, with the Omega symbol, the date wheel is more silver than champagne. Sorry for the poor pictures, they are all I was able to get last evening. The Face reads: OMEGAAUTOMATIC Seamaster COSMICAnything else I should be looking for? Or do these things appear correct for this vintage?Didn't notice this until I got better pictures, the black under the feet is not a shadow, it is printed on the

Hey, I'm living in Melbourne at the minute and will be until Feb 2013. I'm looking to spend about $3500/4000 au / 2200/2500 english / $3200/3600 usSo far looking on ebay it seems I get the best deal in the UK for secondhand watches, I'm really interested in a datejust, would just love some help from anyone who has bought a secondhand watch recently. Also flying to vietnam for 2 weeks holiday soon, no chance of getting a real one there? Thanks for any help, Will

Incoming vintage Seiko
I've got this Seiko Advan on the way. It was an ebay find, bought on a whim because of the vivid blue dial. Apparently made in October 1974, with the 7019 movement. Now here's the kicker...matching blue strap . Not to everyone's taste I'm sure, but I like it! I had the seller fit this for me instead of the non-original SS band, (and he was extremely pleasant and accommodating in doing so - surprising for an Ebay seller in my experience.)
