Hamilton Celebrates 120 Years With Exhibit at New York’s Tourneau Time Machine
Hamilton Watch Company, founded in Lancaster, Pennsylvania in 1892, marks its 120th anniversary this year. To commemorate the milestone, Hamilton has collaborated with the National Watch & Clock Museum (NAWCC) , one of the world¡¯s largest museums devoted to the art, science and history of timepieces and timekeeping, to curate a month-long public exhibit of Hamilton archives at New York City’s Tourneau Time Machine.The exhibit, which opened on June 4, takes a look back at Hamilton through the years, and is chock-full of interesting items for watch lovers and history buffs, including photos of the original Hamilton factory and past employees, several vintage timepieces (including a marine chronometer from the 1940s, an original Hamilton Pulsar, and the Ventura model that Elvis Presley wore in Blue Hawaii), dozens of old advertisements, original company newsletters and video testimonials from former employees. Was curious as to others opinion on the extra pusher ( compass ) controller, and the overall value of the watch in comparison to other AP ROO's of its class??

that could care less about the new Pepsi? I don't care for the jubilee bracelet on this watch, it doesn't work for the model and the shade of the blue and the red are a no go.There are seriously like 100 threads on all the love for this watch. On the flip side I am LOVING that everyone wants it and the lists (per one of the 4+ threads on waitlists) will be years long. I am truly hoping it takes demand pressure off the Daytona so I can finally get one at MSRP.MY tastes must truly be so out of whack from EVERYONE else on this forum.

New GMT MASTER II looks great??
I have seen the new GMT Master II launched this week and have already asked my AD to put my name forward for one if they get any in this year.I think it looks great in SS and the jubilee bracelet compliments it in my opinion. I think it is also very reasonably priced and should hold its value.I like to get the opinion of the forum and whether its worth the investment of purchasing it?
