Patek Philippe Patek Philippe 48518 wrist watches news:
This is my first post to the forum, so I thought I'd say "hi" to members. I've been interested in pocket and wrist watches since I was a kid - my uncle was a watchmaker who used to take me to his workshop - but I started collecting pocket watches in earnest a few years ago. I collect American makes such as Hamilton, Waltham and Elgin, and my collection is mainly Railroad pocket watches, with a few military pocket watches as well. I have a couple of Hamilton wristwatches from the 1940s, and an Elgin or two.Regards,Will
Think I'll go with Akribos XXIV today...
According to a poll on yahoo, the best wrist to wear your watch is:The arm opposite of which you write with. so if you are left handed, you wear it on your right, if you are right, wear it on your left. Or whatever hand you want to, who cares. Its usually worn on the opposite for comfort.

Hello All!I had the great fortune of acquiring my Forged Carbon Diver from one of our trusted dealers on TRF in late March, and if you saw it in person I think you'd agree with me that it is a fantastic look piece, quite different from most Offshores in a number of ways. Already in the short amount of time I've had it, we've already had some adventures together, but unfortunately it had to take a solo trip to APSC in Clearwater as well. At first I thought I was going crazy...perhaps I wave my hands/fist pump too frantically at concerts I wore it to or whatnot, but I noticed that my Diver kept gaining time. Sometimes a minute or two overnight. (I always sync my watches to the clock inside my iPhone to see how accurately they keep time)Although it was a new watch, I was a little cautious and sent it over to Betsy at APSC. Although they told me that it would take a little over a month to service, lo and behold, like my last Diver I had serviced (my Steel had to get a crown replacement) th
