Patek Philippe 5054-J wrist watches news:
“A tough year, 1971.” With these four words, Jack Heuer – then the 38-year-old President of Heuer Leonidas – opened the 1972 case study on his company by the Swiss business school IMEDE.The Heuer Time and Electronics Corp (HTEC), the American branch of the company, had enjoyed 11 consecutive years of increased sales heading into 1969. By 1970, the U.S. had become Heuer’s largest market, with $1.2 million in sales. However, 1971 was a different story. U.S. sales declined 19 percent (to $952,000) and HTEC suffered a loss of $154,000. Retailers were afraid of the chronographs.Jack Heuer Today’s collectors may imagine that, entering the 1970s, Heuer was enjoying momentum from introducing the world’s first automatic chronographs in 1969. But the IMEDE case study tells the story of a stopwatch company struggling to sell chronographs at all. Hi,Does this Rolex look GenuineRegardsGeorge
Would love to see someone with photoshop skills draw up a 15202OR or 15400OR on bracelet with a green dial! Can someone do this and post up? If you can make it an olive green or the AP green that would be awesome. If I'm asking for too much, please forgive me!
Hey all,I recently purchased an AP ROC 26320st with the black dial. I'd like to know if it's possible to swap my black dial, with the factory white dial. Could I send the watch to AP and have them make this swamp? Would experts on this forum discourage this? I can't see how this would bring the value of my piece down, as the 26320st is a universal ref # for both black and white dials. Other than cost, are there any negative side effects' to swapping on these dials? Thanks,BostonRolexIG: pcakes508
Happy New Year everyone,We rarely see some here, so I thought I would do a little enabling for the 5167R, and the 5164R is a real beauty as well, but I didn't really care for the complication and I wanted ultra thin, so the choice was easy for me, but both are amazing in the sun...
