Patek Philippe 3738/100G-012 wrist watches news:
hey guys,i just got my new seamaster coaxial chronometer about a 2 months ago. recently, like within the past 2 weeks, I've noticed that the bracelet keeps popping open when I flex my wrist. I dont think I'm wearing it too loose where I'm accidentally pushing the side release buttons. When I apply slight to medium pressure and force it open without pushing the release buttons, it pops out. I'm thinking this watch should not open so easily with very little resistance. Additionally, I don't think I've hit anything to damage the bracelet. From a novice's visual inspection, I do not notice any damage to the metal locking mechanism like if the protruding mushroom cap shaped part is bent in any sort of way.I bought the watch in another city so I want to make sure this is a legitimate problem before I make the hassle of driving back.I'm new to this forum, so please excuse my ignorance if the topic has already been address. I did find anything searching for this particular problem. Thanks

Yes, it's time to post the vintage encore, and it's a one - two punch of project watches! First, you should all know I am no longer the biggest enabler on this website. Greg has officially taken that spot by enabling the enabler. He spotted this diamond in the rough at a local shop:As you can see, the dial has some issues but hopefully won't be too tough to restore:It appears to be an 18ct case - but I'm going to confirm this to be sure because the marking is strange. Now for the reason I had Greg jump on it after his text about finding it:A 30L from 1962! This is the finest production manual wind movement Longines made, and the 30Z chronometer version whipped the revered Omega 30t and Zenith 135 calibers for nearly a decade in the Neuchatel Observatory Chronometer Competitions in the late 50's and early 60's.It's in pretty good shape, and for the price it was a steal. This can double as the 'before' post in the Project Watch Club series. -The second one was just won for a few d
