The marvelous Rumba alarm watch, produced by the esteemed watchmaker Bvlgari, is clearly identifiable by its cushion-shaped case, endowed with an original system of movable bracelet attachments.Launched in a limited series of 999 pieces, the Rumba watch is equipped with a self-winding alarm movement - AS 5008. This remarkable mechanism incorporates a double barrel and features a special embellishment. The movement is also marked with an individual number. It serves to animate the functions of hours, minutes, seconds as well as that of alarm.

Regulator Der Meistertaucher Arrives!
The knock on the door came at around 1:00 P.M. My new Oris Regulator Der Meistertaucher had arrived. Amazing tool kit included with screw drivers, a rubber strap and a ss bracelet. The seller and I have identical size wrists, so no links needed to be added to my bracelet. It fit perfectly. It's a very cool watch, unlike any other I own or have ever had. It is going to take a few wearings to get used to the unconventional dial, but that's what originally drew me to this watch. So far it looks like it's going to be within COSC specs, running a tad fast (+1 after 5 hours). As promised here is my first wrist shot of my new Regulator:

2 days well spent
Yesterday I went to the regional hmt showroom. (not too far away from my house) I had to buy 3 pilots (1 for me and 2 for bio) alongwith a watch as a gift for a friend of mine. Unfortunately they didn't have a single pilot but I got a decent for my friend, the hmt JanataA good find for 12$ isn't it?The same day I read bio's blog about using the swiss army knife as a watch tool. I opened the caseback of my hmt kohinoor and took this picAnd now for the best part, day before yesterday, me and my dad went to the Chandani Chowk area of Delhi. We were just window shopping when we saw these beauties in an optician's shop. He said he has many more at home, watch collection being his hobby and when we offered to buy the 50's omega, he said he can't part with even one of them. I'll be back at his shop one day to see the remainder of his collection. Too bad I wasn't carrying my digicam, took these with my phoneHe claimed this omega is from the 190xHe said this seamaster was made in 195xAnd finall

Date change at midnight - 26300st/Cal.2385
I would appreciate if those with ROCs and the 2385 movement could chime in here. I was watching the date change around midnight and noticed two things:- Around 30 minutes before midnight the datewheel had started turning slightly into the next date (perhaps by 1/5). By Midnight it had turned slightly more (around 1/3).- At 10 minutes past midnight it finally changed over to the next date in one quick flip, just like on a Rolex.Is this normal and within spec? My Rolexes flip over around 3-5 minutes past midnight and I was wondering if the same should be the case for APs. Looking forward to being schooled

Rolex Theft by Home Break-in
I never thought I¡¯d be posting this thread but it has happened to me now. I was away from home for a day - didn¡¯t set the alarm (mistake 1).I thought I¡¯d be gone for an hour or so, but a family emergency took much longer and arrived home to the results of a burglary. Not sharing details - the topic is about Rolexes that were stolen. A total of 4 were taken and I¡¯m sharing serial numbers for the benefit of our community to avoid buying one of them.1.
