Hi all,I need anybody's help with a problem I have with the rubber strap that I bought from the authorised dealer in Greece for my panerai luminor power reserve, 40mm (PAM 00241).They have sold me the rubber strap with the code MX0031VR and they are insisting that this is the correct strap for my watch. However, I believe that this strap is too thick to fit properly the adjuztable (deployant) buckle that comes with my watch. In fact, now that they have managed to squeeze it in the deployment buckle, my buckle doesn't seem to close securely due to the thikness of the rubber strap. In my opinion this is the rubber strap for the tongue buckle. In this site (paneraisource/articles_straps.shtml) I found some information about the differences of the straps made for the deployant and the tongue buckle (e.g., size of the whole, thickness of strap) which makes me think that the authorised dealer in Greece doesn't have his facts right about which is the correct rubbber strap for my Panerai.Does
We were asked in an earlier thread what we thought the most unheralded brand was and I answered Girard-Perregaux. I guess that is because I happen to own one and think it's just a fantastic watch that doesn't get much attention. So after playing around with Photoshop today, I wanted to share some pics of my GP Vintage 1945. Let me know what you think. Have a great Sunday everyone.
I'm looking for a digital pocket watch. I wouldn't think that such a product would be terribly hard to find, but so far I have been completely unable to locate one. Any help would be very appreciated.
