Patek Philippe 7011/1G-001 wrist watches news:
And not the good kind of funky! Now, I got this watch a few months ago and right from the get-go I knew something was wrong.First of all, I'd just like to say I have no idea what exactly is broken, I've never had a watch break like this.I mean, I've had watches where the movement seized, I've had watches where the hands had fallen off, I've had watches where the crown came off. But this Elgin? Everything on it looks to be in good shape. Spick, span and clean.Anyway, enough rambling. I don't quiet know how to describe it so I'll do my best. You know that on any watch you can pull the crown up and turn it to set the hands?Well, on this watch it seems to be 'stuck' in that position. Twisting the crown doesn't wind the watch, it just moves the hands. I can't push it down or pull it up any so right now I'm stumped. I know the movement used to work. When I first got it it has this problem but if you spun the hands around a few times it would start ticking and the second hand would move. It doe
Any news on the price increased?Every year AP would increase their MRSP by 5-15% on average and we are ending 2016 soon. Will there be a price hike???
Right so this is my second post in the Omega section today and i do apologise for asking so many questions but if it's any consolation, I am incredibly excited by some of the Omega models that i've seen online today that I never even knew existed Having looked online, this particular Speedy has really caught my eye. It is the Speedy Legend Schumacher LE, one of them anyway. Not my picture so credit to the original photographer! Can anyone give me any info on this model? Is it one of those ones that looks great in photos but doesn't quite live up to it in person? Any info would be much appreciated as i am an Omega novice, having never really spent much time looking into Omega! Thanks in advance!
Recently picked up my first PAM, so I am new to strap life. The watch itself is water resistant, but what about OEM leather straps which came with the watch? Can I swim with them on or should I consider sourcing OEM rubber for water activities? TIA
Out of curiosity why sub vs sd43? Both diving and depth rated beyond where anyone would dive to. Is one too big or too small depending upon your preference? Sd43 has new movement. Which would you buy and why? If you already have one which did you get and why? And for that matter let’s throw the dssd into the mix. Is that one just too big? Thanks
