- I really love this watch, I've had it for about 3-4 weeks. It keeps great time. The exhibition back is excellent. The watch has a very expensive look and feel. I get compliments all the time.

For you Benrus collectors...I just noticed a Benrus Airman on eBay (in a large lot of vintage watches). If it's allowed, I'll post the auction number. Otherwise, pm me for the information. I know a lot of you Benrus collectors consider this a "grail". (I already have one in my project stash.)It's not my auction and I'm not in any way connected to the sale of these watches - just thought you guys might want to know.Regards,Brian
Say, for example, $3,000 came your way, and you could only spend it on a German watch, which watch would you buy?I'd buy a Sinn 856 or 857 on tegmented steel bracelet. I know I wouldn't use all the money, but those two have always caught my eye.How about you? Any money left over would go to your favorite charity.

Among my "old stuff" interests (and/or possessions) are: - inkwells. (In regular use). - rocker-blotters. (In regular use). - Dip-pens (in regular use). - Pen-rest (inherited from grandmother). - Fountain pens (Collection so far is nine pieces, ranging from 1927-2007. All in regular, daily use). - Early jazz (1900-1950s). - Antique pianos. The reason I'm here today is because in just-over two weeks, it's Chinese New Year, and I want to save up my new-year money to buy a watch. I already have a watch, in fact, I have two. One steel & grey Swatch (which has since stopped working. I haven't bought a battery for it in about two years), and a stainless-steel TAGheuer. I'm interested in buying a pocket-watch. I know this might seem
