- I orderd this because it looked really cute, it looks even better in person! I have received many compliments on it at work, I wear a uniform with red in it and this matches nicely. Great watch for the price!

Tissot T010.417.17.057.00 wrist watches news:
I’m sure it’s out there somewhere, but it’s hard to think of a single wristwatch model from any company that excites as much of a sense of ownership, from owners and non-owners alike, as the Mark series from IWC. There are, arguably, better known watches – the Submariner springs to mind, for instance – but the Mark series is one in which IWC fans in particular, and watch enthusiasts in general, really feel a personal stake. Why is this the case? First of all, the Mark watches have a design with very broad appeal: they’re tool watches, and generally have been extremely basic in design, while at the same time being instantly recognizable and very attractive. That combination of completely utilitarian appearance and aesthetic appeal is very powerful – especially because the aesthetics were not deliberate, but rather, an organic consequence of utilitarian considerations, and therefore seem much more genuine than if the goal had been producing a des
I have an Ingersol trench and an Ingraham wrist in need of some TLC and I am looking form someone to give them a rebuild. I've tried our resident "miracle workers" but they are flat out. Anybody interested can you pm me.
I wanted to experiment with another period bracelet, after receiving that Krementz bonklip-style one with my Rutledge a couple of months ago. That one ultimately has landed onto this Tonneau:Which previously resembled this:So, despite how swell this Square B looks on a simple black pigskin strap......I found a contemporaneous steel bracelet which gives a totally different look. I'm sure many will have strong preferences...Actually I ultimately prefer the strap, but like this too. Choice is good.
I just purchased this watch. My guess is that it is a 80's or 90's vintage. Any help with an approximate date of manufacture would help.
So, I'm going through some old stuff and I found the original receipt and paperwork for my TAG that I bought in 1994 and the serial number on the card is different than the serial number on the watch. Not that it matters much at this point because I've basically retired that watch since I got my Aquaracer Day/Date Auto but I was wondering what it could mean. What's also weird is that the none of the numbers match upThe numbers on the back of the watch are 962.006R and the serial number is M40109 but the card says WE1210 and serial number Z86910.Do you think he just gave me the wrong paperwork? They were an authorized dealer (Danielle B Jewelers on 57th St. in Manhattan) and I know they're still there.Thoughts?
