Tissot T0674172105100 wrist watches news:
Hi everyone,I was doing some searching through the forum for info on using one's SMP for water activities. Now I know it's a dive watch, but last year I had to have mine overhauled because there were spots on the underside of the crystal. They were faint, but similar in appearance to water spots you might get on your windshield. There was no rust in the movement or anywhere else, so I have no idea how it could have happened. These days I may swim or snorkel with my SMP but I'm still a bit skittish. Years ago when I used to dive I had a Seiko auto and never had a problem, even at 100+ feet down. I have read that swimming might be bad due to the pressure created by the hand entering the water with force. How tightly do you guys screw down your crown/helium valve? Again, any thoughts or advice is much appreciated.
The first real watch that I bought was a Tissot prc200. Next month is my Birthday and I was choosing between the Oris TT3 automatic and the Tissot Chronograph automatic with a new movement that consist of syntetic part. In other Words the Oris is a better watch. But yet I choose the Tissot. Do any of you guys have brand loyalty??
I was cleaning drawers in the garage this morning and found this Hanhart timer. Back in the 70s and 80s, I used to run a lot, both distance and wind sprints, and found this was a good way to measure my progress. It was, as the dial says, made in Germany. The second hand makes one circuit in 30 seconds and the minute hand one circuit every 15 minutes. And it will continue until unwound, which was longer than I could keep running! It winds from the back and still works perfectly. The back says it is shock resistant and anti-magnetic. I imagine the timers today are almost all digital...
hi all ive sized many braclets and always follow the direction of the arrow out and reversed the procedure to put the pin back in.is that right or should i be putting the pin back in following the direction of the arrow thanks
Hey guys I was just wondering, do you have a watch/watches that you will never ever sell under any circumstances? I know that I will never be selling my 1960 ss cal 600 Omega, my 1968 Timex Waferthin, or my 1951 14k yg Lord Elgin. I intend to keep them all as family heirlooms.
