Hi everyone, Im a new member of this forum, I'm glad I found you guys. I was doing some research on an omega deville and found this forum. I see that you guys share a lot of helpful info, that encouraged me to join you. I take the oportunity to share my little watch collection, it's simple and small but I feel proud of it. This first one is an Omega Deville solid 18k that my father in law gave me 8 years ago when I got married, he also got this watch from his father in law when he got married on 1977. i made a little research and found it on a catalog made for Omega uk year 1977 with leather strap under luxury 18k watches. my father in law told me when he gave it to me that the strap is not the original one. the catalog describes it as BA166.0134. i found a website that clasifies this watch :62.73.172.171/eMuseumPlus?service=direct/1/ResultListView/result.t2.collection_list.$TspTitleLink$0.link&sp= 10&sp=Scollection&sp=SfieldValue&sp=0&sp=1&sp=3&sp =Ssimpl

You know you need a new mainspring when...
I noticed my Bagley ran out of steam more quickly than most other watches and since I recently purchased a few new mainsprings I decided to see if that was the culprit.I thought folks might like to see the difference between an old mainspring and a new one. Notice a new spring actually curls in the opposite direction. They're not hard to replace but can be a bugger to wind by hand.

Ok, many of you know that I blew a big chunk of my Patek savings on a Patek for my wife. She is way more deserving than me. Anyway, most of you also know from previous posts that I will not wear any watch if I cant have my ideal watch. I do not usually compromise on this. However, for $9 I had to. I will not remove this watch from my wrist untill I purchase the Ideal watch for me. Either a platinum Patek, Nardin, Sohne, or Breguet. Maybe even a Zenith, Glashutte, even possibly an RGM (bespoke of course). May take a year or so, but what the hell.

I defently thing there is somthing wrong with me I just bought my Omega 15000 gauss bumble bee yesterday and today I find my way to Breitling AD and tried on the Transocean GMT. Omg I can't stop. Already thinking of buying this one it's the limited version also.image.jpg

Black Dial Daytona 116520 Becoming More Valuable Than White Dial
Anybody noticed recently (I¡¯m in the UK) how the black dial Daytona 116520 seems to have a higher asking price than the white dial? Watchfinder for example commanding ¡ê1500 more for black dial. I¡¯m led to believe this is because the DaytonaC preference is a white dial, therefore leaving the black dial preference in 116520.PS I have a white dial 116520
